Shared expertise.
Clear accountability.

The Group sets direction and supports the businesses. Each company is intended to own its market, customer relationships, sales and marketing.

Three levels of responsibility

The Group

Strategy and orchestration, with shared technology, design, business and legal support.

The business

A distinct customer, offer and commercial path, led by an accountable entity-level manager.

The product

A specific offering with a defined scope, delivery owner and acceptance criteria.

What a first engagement should clarify

The outcome

The problem, customer and smallest useful deliverable.

The responsibility

Who delivers, who reviews, who accepts and who owns the work.

The evidence

The assumptions to test and the measures used to decide what comes next.

Group strategy and company execution

The Group CEO sets strategic direction and portfolio priorities. In the intended model, each company GM acts as the entity CEO and is responsible for its customer relationships and commercial execution. Shared support helps a company deliver its own offer; it does not remove company accountability or merge the portfolio into one operating business.

What a scoped engagement should agree

A practical brief identifies the customer, problem, intended outcome, source information and constraints. The parties then define deliverables, delivery ownership, required review, acceptance criteria and support. Commercial terms and legal responsibilities are agreed for that engagement. A reusable technology choice should follow those requirements rather than decide the offer in advance.

Questions about this direction

Where do sales and marketing sit?

Sales and marketing remain company-level responsibilities. Shared Group support is intended for technology, design, business and legal; company GMs are accountable for execution.
